Introductions: The Academy: The Ghost Bird, Book 1

This book was an interesting read. I instantly liked the character of Sang, but was surprised how insecure she was when she was described to be so beautiful. It was a little shocking to see how naive she was but yet that is what made her so beautiful, making her unique. There were so many introductions to the group of boys that it was hard to keep them straight in my mind at first, but it got easier as their personalities developed. I wasn't a huge fan of the bad language and the audio version accents were TERRIBLE! I also was not a huge fan of the dominance the boys showed over Sang. Call me sexist, but there were some actions I did not like. The story did have some intrigue as I'm curious to what club the boys belong to, and what about it causes their allegiance. I look forward to a love story developing and hope to see less oppression in Sang's life. I give this book 3 stars!

The Darkest Lies

I liked this book. It is by one of my favorite authors. It portrays the domestic mystery that I love so much. I didn't give it 5 stars...
